Hi there, Welcome to my blog!
I am a South African network engineer, currently working towards my CCIE R&S Certification. I have started this blog to document my progress as I work towards my CCIE. I have over 5 years of experience in Networking, UNIX/Linux Systems Administration and Security.
In my free time I enjoy learning more about networking, electronics and telecommunications. Currently I hold a number of industry certifications including:
- CCIP – Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional
- CCDP – Cisco Certified Design Professional
- CCNP – Cisco Certified Network Professional
- CCDA – Cisco Certified Design Associate
- CCNA – Cisco Certified Network Associate
- L+ – Comptia Linux+
- N+ – Comptia Network+
- Sec+ – Comptia Security+
Currently I am working towards passing the new CCIE written exam and spend my days (and many nights) working as a Senior Network Engineer at a large South African ISP.
